Hiring: Operations & Bookkeeping Assistant

Location

Remote, Canton area strongly preferred

Contract

35-40 hours per week, up to 12 weeks

 

Responsibilities

Assisting the accounts management team of a small marketing agency with filing, light bookkeeping, scheduling calls, organizing travel and ad hoc administrative duties.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Keeping up-to-date records regarding client invoicing and contracts (in QuickBooks Online and Google docs),
  • Managing the team calendar and setting call timings for new business and existing client calls,
  • Filing paperwork and receipts,
  • Managing the signature process for contracts (via Adobe Sign),
  • Sending invoices and receiving payments in QuickBooks Online, and
  • Managing the travel booking process for team members.

Qualifications

  • College experience preferred but not required
  • Must have experience in handling administrative duties in an office (and / or remote working) environment
  • Must have experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Bookkeeping experience would be preferred
  • Experience with Google Suite (specifically Spreadsheets and Docs) a major plus
  • Experience working remotely strongly preferred
  • Must have working computer and reliable Internet connection
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

Hourly rate: $25-30 per hour dependent upon experience
