Social Media Coordinator

LOCATION:

Virtual (US-based)

Years of Experience Required:

1-2 years of social media experience preferred

EMPLOYEE/FREELANCE:

immediate contractor need with the possibility of a full-time role in the future

 

Our social media coordinators are responsible for the following:

  • Working closely with the social media strategists to execute social strategy on behalf of clients and Beutler Ink's own brand
  • Writing to a high quality for a range of outlets, specifically: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, blogs and emails
  • Measuring and tracking social media results and compiling reports for client review
  • Collaborating with creative and accounts team to ensure business objectives are met

The Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years of professional experience required
  • Very strong written communication skills a must
  • Must be comfortable working with visual content
  • Must have a strong aesthetic sensibility, specifically an ability to source, refine, and curate visual content
  • Must be organized, resourceful, and disciplined
  • Must be a self-starter who can stay on task without a manager on-site, as our team is entirely distributed meaning that all employees work remotely from their homes
  • Must be very comfortable using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and other social media platforms
  • Experience and comfort using and creating spreadsheets, photo editing software (e.g., Photoshop), Google Docs, Excel, and cloud storage (e.g., Dropbox and Google Drive)
  • Experience measuring and tracking social media analytics a huge plus
  • Experience at a PR or advertising agency a plus
  • Experience in the hospitality industry a plus

Rate:

  • $20 to $25 per hour depending on experience
